76,000 isn't really "the end." i was just trying to point out that 76,000 is a lot of miles, and with the transmission problem and whatnot, you want to enjoy your investment.
other than that, the X5 will last you a very long time. don't know anybody who has hit 200,000 yet, but i'm sure it will still run like butter
