Based on the description in the article it does sound like the undetectable version of the k40. At least I know where to look now. I can tell you that there is no switch / volume settings anywhere and it is sort of loud. If I could turn it down it would be so much better.

Ok, now you will think I am a little anal, but I had them cut out the prior owner information from the service history and did the same on my e46 m3 history before giving it to them. I know I could get it but I feel it's not my business...

ooo...that radar seems very cool...not so much the scaring you part i think you should keep the radar but ask to have an on/off switch. that's a really cool mod

That's a pretty cool setup you have there. So does the control unit allow you to turn it off and on?

It doesn't seem to turn it on and off, but I haven't played with it while driving yet... It seems to just adjust the sensitivity...
