rotor replacement

OK, 2006, 4.4 X5. 17550 miles.
Routine maintenance today and I had complained of vibration on braking at high speeds. Like at 60-70mph and sudden braking with severe vibration in the front end. SA says wheels out if balance, I say BS, check the rotors. They replace front end rotors and pads, now and tell me its the way I drive...
I need opinions on: Is this too soon for this problem and how could I have caused it? Yes, it was all covered under warranty.
Thx.

Brake hard (hot rotors) and stop the car. That could warp the rotors. Hot rotors get wet= warped rotors. There's many ways it could've happend. Them jumping the gun to tell you it was your fault is unprofessional considering they have no idea under what circumstances this happend.

In city traffic, brake early and gradually. Saves rotors and gas.

My original rotors lasted me to about 75K miles. First set of pads replaced at 23K with Mintex Red Box, 2nd set of pads and new rotors at 75K (Axxis Deluxe pads and Brembo rotors)

So, with the new rotors, did that fix the problem? (vibration)?
I have the same problem.

if you have pedal kickback at pretty much all braking speeds, then your rotors are warped... however it happened... warped rotors will give feedback no matter what speed...

if it only happens at certain speeds, its possible your wheels are out of balance. thats simple enough to check and should be free in most cases...

have you checked for play in the sway bar endlink and other areas (control arm)? those also give you vibration under braking too if they are loose...

Thx to all. No the the car has no vibration at any speed unless braked at high speed.
Smooth as hell at 80mph. Just can't believe rotors would be warped this soon.

I think I found the problem, I put the truck on a lift and both front tires are lose when u shake them side to side and you can clearly see the lower control arms not working like they should, next week I will replace both and I will keep you posted on progress.
I know it's been posted before to look at the control arms, I just never had a chance to put it on lift and check it properly.
