You will probably have to pull the arm off the car before you can move it as there are most likely "teeth" on the actual motor. I'll take a look tonight.

I figured as much however I was reluctant to pull it off out of fear of hitting the edge of the hood and chipping the paint. Let me know how you make out.

I tell ya, that passenger side one sucks..not sure how you can adjust it without taking the hood off.

Taking the hood off is really the only way I could see to manually adjust it. So the question is, is it worth your time to pull the hood?

I tried to pull the passenger wiper off also. It's on there pretty tight. I'm thinking the only way to get it off, after pulling the nut, is to use a puller (gear puller).

I also removed the plastic cover around the fresh air intake to look at the linkages. Nothing was bent and no worn bushings that I could tell. So for now it stays.
