If the light came on due to the pads being worn out (as compared to a poor connection), then the sensor needs replacement. There is one on the LF, and one on the RR. They can be purchased from your dealer.

thanks JCL for your prompt response. I decided to replace the two front rotors , a complete set of pads including two new sensors at Just Brakes shop. Just didn't want to fool with the DIY weekend job. My car has 63k miles and badly need the pads replaced. I should be good for awhile on the brakes. Thanks again.
