Price for replacement leather...

Got a quote from World Upholstery & Trim for a set of new front seat leathers (standard seats). They want $1,500 and an additional $200 for headrests (which I don't need).

That wouldn't include installation either.

Soo......maybe finding replacement seats would be better? My interior is beige and has the 2 tone leather. My drivers seat is the worst that needs to be replaced (thanks to the previous owner wearing the color off of the leather).

Or would the sport seats from a 2004 fit my 2001? I know there are differences in the leather (basically that the sport aren't 2 tone and mine are).

What would you do? I hate that my drivers seat is so worn and the rest of the car looks so good...

Try pricing OEM covers.

I think the *retail* on seats is around $1500 each.....if I recall.
Sport seats will wear due to the seat design.

I have perfected steeping out with butt off the bolster so that it does not wear.
But the wear is normal......

What color is it ? If it's dark, u can always redye it to a degree and just have it match as long as the leather is in good condition.

It's light, I had it redyed but the grain is gone so it is basically smooth on the edges. So I guess it looks 'normal' for a 6 year old car. I probably keep and eye on ebay or talk with a local shop for their pricing.

I had the same problem with my 2006 light tan seat. Since it was still under the warranty the dealer replaced it for free!
