Camshaft positioning sensor

I pulled the code and replaced the correct side. or so i thought, the SES light is still on. And the old sensor is in the trash. I am going to replace the other sensor. Are they the same? or is it a different sensor? searches online dont distinguish between sides. 1 size fits all is how they are saying it..

They are not the same. Intake CPS and exhaust CPS are different and have different part numbers. The fault code should have indicated which one. Did you clear the code after replacing the sensor?
