Stealth One operation

I have my S1 set to mute alerts below 44 mph... but often times while below 44 mph it will sound off one chirp before switching to mute mode. Anyone else notice this? Is there an advanced menu setting to correct it?

Using V1 in Adv. Logic Mode, BTW - although I don't think it matters.

My understanding is that the S1 has to get a signal from the V1 before it can tell it to mute, hence the 1 beep.

I don't notice mine beeping when 'muted'--I have it set to 30 mph. I'll take a look and listen tomorrow.

That makes sense, although sometimes it doesn't beep at all...

Now that I think about it though, in 'Adv. Logic' mode, the V1 auto-mutes alerts that it knows are false alarms, so maybe it's just those that don't register at all below my 44 mph cut-off... and all the 'real' alerts still beep once.
(I suppose I could test it by switching the V1 to 'All Bogeys' mode and see if it beeps once all the time below 44 mph... )
