X5 ALARM PROBLEMS

Hope someone can help without having to go to the dealer. My X5 was locked with the alarm armed. I opened the hatch using the remote to put something in as I have done in the past. I accidentally opened the lower hatch and the alarm went off and pretty loud too. Anyway, I couldn't disarm with the remote. After several tries, I put the key in the drivers door and disarmed the alarm. Here's the problem. Now my remote does not work at all. In addition, the central locking system only works with the vehicle is running (engine on) as soon as I shut the engine off, the rear bottom hatch releases (opens). I cannot open the rear bottom hatch at all with the button on the door or the remote. (remote is dead) But when I start and turn off the engine it opens. The other issue is the radio does not turn off with the ignition. I have to mannually turn it on and off. It stays on for about 20 minutes and then shuts off by itself. I checked the fuses and they are ok. All systems function normally when the vehicle is running. What I noticed was that when I turn the ignition off, everything is still powered even after 30 minutes of sitting. Radio, power windows, turn signals etc. I did hook up my diagnostic tool, and it shows the system has no faults. Can anyone help me out with this. Thanks.

Sounds like you have a few problems. I have a '04 X5 4.4. The keys are all coded just for you vehicle, sounds like the code has been changed on your key and the on board computor has blown a fuse. A simple recoding of your car by the dealer might work, but I think you best go see the dealer.
Good Luck...
