Autolock - looks like not working anymore

Hi everybody,

I am just wondering if anybody had similar autolock problems.
The system should autolock all doors after the speed reach 20 mlh. In my case it stopped doing that. It already does not do that for couple of days. Is any an easy fix for it? Is that a big problem?

Thanks in advance,
Vlad

I've noticed a strange behavior on my 2004 4.4i. If I unlock the doors with the remote then autolock works. If leave the door unlock, like when I get home and park in the garage, then the doors will not autolock the next time I drive the X. Are you using the remote each time you enter the vehicle?

When in the car with it on, and you press the central locking button to open the door to let someone out or in, the car will not auto-lock. However, if you manually open the lock as in using the door handle, the car will auto-unlock then auto-lock once you reach the predetermined speed.

don't really like the first part...it should lock again...

or maybe it's just me.

It worked a couple days ago and nothing dramactic happenned. It is weird.

Try checking your Central Locking System fuses 20, 24, & 60. The fuses are in the glove box.
