Faulty heated seats
The drivers side seat gets so hot it has melted some of that fine leatherette upholstery and literally will burn skin. Are there any of you that have this problem? Is there a recall on this? Technical Service Bulletin? Thanks in advance.

By the way, I'm new to the site. The X5 is my wife's car. We bought it used and have an extended warranty. Although the warranty does not cover this problem-- I don't think.
