I checked the owner's manual and it is referenced as a resistance point.

That would be good to know. When I replaced my seperator system and ICV it took a while to relearn the fueling tables and get the trims right in the absences of massive blowby, etc.

Why does this happen to some X's??? Is this something that we need to do more often or when ever we feel some sort of change in the tranny?? Thanks.
