I've got a question for you guys...when you go to Enterprise, do you have to pay for the rental? I've never paid for a rental...I thought that was just a BMW courtesy, hell I don't even pay for the gas I use. What is really going on...............Phil

you guys are pretty funny... Having done business with the same dealer for my past 10 BMWs, I'm on a first name basis. I don't have to set an appt any more to bring the car in for any type of service. I just give them a quick call the night before. I show up and I get my usual 745i and now 750Li loaner.
If I'm too lazy to say slap on an exhaust in my garage, I bring it in after- hours and the shop foreman/ one of the techs I work with let's me put it on the lift and helps me install mods... of course, this relationship took over 10 years to develop and pretty much started out with E36 M3 in 95.. but take it for what it's worth... you take care of them over time, they take care of you... that's how the world works... my 2 cents.. |

To be absolutely honest with you guys, the bimmer loaners are available:
1) if there are more bimmers to give to customers...no one really want to shell out additional $$ from the dealership. 2) believe it or not, at the mercy of your service advisor....hence if you treat them nice they will be nice to you. I personally have great relationships with Stevens Creek BMW in CA...though some have complaint. The service advisors when they see me know me by my first name and even the service manager knows me. I asked them why they are so nice to me is because I treat them with respect and courtesy...not because I own a "BMW" and become snobby because "I have status now". So I want to point that out, not saying anyone of you guys are bad, but just want to let you know that they are human and sometimes they have good and bad days. |

Thats Great...thats like saying...I have a Ferrari Modena and they treat me good...OBVIOUSLY...but most of us dont own high luxury cars...its basically this BMW is shitty service unless they are taking your money... you think they want to warranty your car...they rather find additional problems so they can charge you...ALL and ALL BMW service sucks..you guys who have had good experiences, thats good for you, but rare for others. |

I don't want to beat a dead horse, but shouldn't we be treated better. The fact that BMW thinks we will always be customers regardles of how they treat us defies logic. If you don't treat all of your customers well and equally your competition will. The customer will eventually find his way over to the other manufactures. BMW needs to know that we expect more.

I live in Atlanta. At United BMW of Gwinnett I was given a X5 3.0 as loaner while my x5 was in for service.

Those of you that are saying your Lexus and Acura dealers treat you so much better, are also paying for your service each time you take your car in. I have had bills of over $400 twice when taking in my wife's Lexus for maintenance service. Trust me, I was paying for that car for the day! If you don't like what Enterprise gives you for free, upgrade to a nicer car and you will still come out ahead when you pick your BMW up at no cost.
