BMW Radio/Navigation settings

Hello all, I was just curious if anyone new what the "memo" on/off did on an X5 Radio/Navigation system? There is no mention of this in navigation manual.

Just to clarify, if you have navigation system, when you go to settings, you can scroll through on setting the langauge, miles, clock , date, and the last setting shows "memo" on/off. When you click "on" you see couple of swiggly lines on the bottom of the screen. What is being memorized?

The memo is a 3beep sound that alerts you 1min before every hour of your clock.

Ah Man, Sudesh, thank you so much! The one minute to the hour alert has been driving me nuts and I couldn't find out how to turn it off.
