I think to be honest, the K&N will not do anything performance wise for you! that you will notice anyway. If you want performance do a complete intake with throttle body upgrade. you should notice something then.

Thanks a lot for all of your opinions! I wish I would have raised this inquiry before I bought it. Now I decide not to use the K&N thing and go stick with OEM. Thanks again.

only if you take it to a gas station and say "I'll trade you this filter for some gas".

why dont you just use less oil for kn filter or dont use oil at all. i never had problems in past 8 years driving bmw's with sport filtes...and never use oil on filter. Some manuals also say dont put filter into oil can just spray it slightly...
