Nokia 8910 Bluetooth

Nokia 8910 Bluetooth. (Not 8910i) anyone use this and sucessfully pair it up with their X5.

Q: will it work fine with a 2005 X5 in the uk? Or should i really be thinking of getting a new phone.

Q: When you have bluetooth active on a phone the battery goes flat rather quickly. I want to know what is the best phone to get with the longest battery life while phone is always with bluetooth on. I am always in and out of my car and hate the hassle of switching it on and off all the time.

When the phone is in the cradle, it will charge.

For the UK go to:

www.bmw.co.uk/bluetooth

All compatible phones are on it. Only the 6230 and 6310 from Nokia are OK.

We've switched to the Motorola RAZR V3 instead of our 6310's

Nokia 6230 works 100% too. I currently have a k750i which is also 100% compatible and a best phone I ever had. There are no cradles for these phones, but who cares. I just plug them in the car charger.

Thumbs up

Got my X5 and tested the 8910.

It does work. Its official. The phone book transfers without a problem!
Great cool small phone. Abit dated but hey it works like a dream with my 2005 X5.
