Yes, this is normal for almost every BMW that I've owned. The only way to correct the camber to almost 0 is to use adjustable lower control arms. I do admit that I am not 100% sure that our X5s have one (which I assume they do) this is how we fixed my M3s inner tire wear.

The negative camber is what allows for better handling in the turns. And the X is not that bad (though it looks it). Just do a quick Google on the 2004 350Z's
