When I get in our M3, I get wherever I am going and realize that I was driving like a jerk and probably just left a trail of pissed off drivers behind. Maybe once the 4.8 comes in, it won't be such an adjustment and I will learn to drive them both with some restraint. Maybe not, though.
Moving from RX300 to 4.8is is a major move. 4.8 is a beast compared to RX300. Most of the time I see RX300's or 330's being driven by female drivers. I guess its a very soft ride car.

People have flashed their headlights when I zip past them at night. As my wife puts it 'it has so much power and the smooth ride that you don't realize you are going fast'.

Mine's usually parked in my garage or at the golf club--where it's nothing special--so I don't have to worry about vandalism as much as some of you. I have only owned BMWs and it's because they're great vehicles to drive not because I need to impress anyone. But then again I did put on the Bimmer Spinners (how do I stop these )

Yes, the RX is very soft, and even my wife dislikes driving it now. She was not a car person at all when we met, now she does not want to drive a car without the sport package. I thought she would like the LX after the RX, and she basically took me by the hand to the BMW and Porsche dealerships. Now she is a certified car nut!

I think that I am generally a considerate person. BUT, I think that I can be a jerk on the road at times, simply because I appreciate driving vehicles that can actually maneuver in traffic (tight spots). I just wouldn't have the same confidence in another car. I travel a lot and rent cars frequently. This week I'm driving a Caddy like an old lady because it feels so unstable, otherwise.
