Here's my stock answer for these fancy air filters:
-Go to a nice clean paved country road. -Do a few seat of the pants, or better yet, timed acceleration runs. -Pull your air filter out. -Do the acceleration runs again. Notice any difference? Didn't think so.  -Don't forget to put your air filter back when you are done. -Save money from not buying fancy air filter for  or  or  Bavarian Autosport sells stock air filters for $16.95 for the 4.4 l engine.
