Hey, I was looking for a strut bar too. The Dinan one is alot of money. I stumbled across this, but have not heard anything about it.

Use the "search" button and you'll see that a few of us had bought this bar from an ebay seller last year for about $175 shipped.

I heard the ebay bar is for looks only... is that true?

That black bar looks great.

But does it work?
I'm a Dinan strut bar away from having an Dinan S2.

Like I've mentioned in my post from the link you've provided, the ebay bar is mostly for look over function. It's not as rigid as I've liked, but I guessed it's slightly better than not having a bar at all. I would go with the Dinan bar if you can find one for less than $300 bucks.

1. Installation was pretty simple.
2. I got the gunmetal since I wanted some contrast from my sapphire black engine bay.
