I put spacers on rear wheels only. And used the bolts which came with the spacers. You bolt the spacers to the car and then the wheel to the spacer. I used 30mm spacers.

Picture after spacer installed.

30mm Spacers bought from here

Okay, this may sound stupid, but is it okay to put wheel spacers on my 17 winter wheels?

I use 30mm spacers (on the rear) in the winter with my 18" wheels and it feels fine. No noticeable understeer issues at all. And, I really throw it around in the twisty mountain roads every chance I get. Go for it.

The pic in my previous post shows 18" style 87 with 30mm spacers. The pics in this article are my winter setup without spacers.

Are there any wider spacers available? I think I would like mine to stick out a bit more. I really can not tell the difference in the pics everyone is posting. Not sure if it is worth $160 per set.
