Having problems after replacing a new battery.

I bought a Duralast group 49 battery from AutoZone. The car, 2001 BMW X5 4.4 liter, started behave very strange. First, I see DSC, ABS and Brake lights on instrument cluster. It goes away after I start driving. I hear some unusual noise under the hood for couple minutes after start. Finally, the car might stop engine running while I am driving. All it happened after I replaced battery. I heard this battery should be a good fit, but now I totally confused. Any ideas what this can be? Can battery causing all these problems? Any advice is highly appreciated.
