I would buy an aftermarket portable NAV, like the Garmin StreetPilot. I can use it in any car and its better than OEM, IMO (touchscreen, many more points-of-interests, etc).

Personally, I wouldn't spend money for any OEM NAV until they are fully integrated with real time traffic reports. I think Acura has this and a few big cities provide the traffic updates.

If the deal is too good to pass up, take it. Just get an aftermarket NAV loaded with all the goodies on it. I wish BMW NAV was touch screen. That would be awesome.
