Looks like the Ebay guy just stole the post off of E46. Thanks for attaching though, I am going to print this doc out. What I am looking for is a more detailed instruction of pulling everything apart and of the wireharness, as I want to build a cleaner one...but everyone is saying its a real easy mod so I guess I shouldn't worry to much about it!

Thanks again!

Most likely he did. But I kno what you mean. I'm reluctant to do certain mods, I can build a server from scratch but not sure about touchin the car. But I have the mod bug so I'm going to attempt this. After xenon assemblies and AEs replace my halogen assemblies. then running boards, then this.

if you can build a server, you can do this mod. its no brainer and one of the easiest one. It takes me 15 literal minutes on E46 vehicles and after removing my center console for my X5, i would guess about the same time. Server is MORE complicated than the X on this specific area. I work in the computer industry as well. So i have trust in you

I've done plenty of mods on my other bimmers, notably I even made little controllers and harnesses that enable the E46 M3 Sport mode on E36/7 MRoadsters and MCoupes ECUs. That was pretty involved, but I want to get all my ducks in a row, because if I can't complete this mod within a day, my wife and baby won't have a car to get around in...so just trying to do my homework before all my parts arrive next week.
