Thanks Wagner!

I just go off of what the computer says for mpg. Never actually calculated it out. I will think twice before believing what the computer says.

my 02 3.0 gives me 20.4 mpg average, havent worked out how to see individual trip milage, mostly used for hauling furniture around town and short highway work. I think thats not bad for such a big car, lucky for me that petrol is only 27p a ltr here...

my 2006 4.4 sport can get over 22mpg, but I'm thinking it could get more if I keep it at 60-65mph on the interstate - it easily gets 17-18 around town, but I'm not doing the commuter 'rush hour' thing anymore

If you're getting over 20mpg as an average, you're doing exceptionally well. Congratz

20MPG = 11.7L/100KM.

Wowh! That is really good, in Hong Kong, I can only reach 17L/100KM, which equals 13.8MPG. In Hong Kong, we drive 70% city and 20% highway and 10% stop-and-wait.

How near 20mpg are you really getting...19.9mpg or 17mpg? How are you calculating your mileage?

I just drove back from Florida to New York a couple of weeks ago and I averaged approximately 21 MPG, or 500 miles per fillup, cruising at 75 miles an hour. Unfortunately, around town I am only getting 16.4 mpg.

Yeah, I've been there - mileage hurts because you have to make 3 right turns to do 1 left turn (no left turns allowed)
