I have 30,000 km on my 2006 4.8is, and it has averaged 14.6 litres/100 km since new. I use it around town, slow highways (80 km/hr limits) and express highways (100 km/hr limits). Best I have done is 9.8 litres/100 km.
basically I am happy with the fuel economy. Don't forget it is a big heavy full time 4 wd truck!
