For much much cheaper I might add....I don't know, they look pretty much the same as the umnitza / jlevi ones...Identical if you ask me...
Read carefully, it say the LENS is made in Germany, not the light housing or its parts. It also says at the bottom...

Made by German FK-Automotive's OEM manufacturer, DEPO

FK is a German aftermarket company, but DEPO is not. DEPO might supply these to a German company, but that does NOT make them German in origin.

i think Umnitza will have to put out there what they do to the lights to make them worth the extra $. I'm sure the'll lose some sales, but you'll have those ppl that will always assume that double the $ means better quality.

You're right...Hmm..well if umnitza and jlevi can come up with reasons as to why theirs are worth significantly more money..I'd love to hear it...Because all things considered, they look identical.

Cool

Sounds like that part of the headlight was weak or defective to begin with. Contact the ebay vendor, and if there is no reply soon, contact ebay dispute center. You need to return them. Unless you really abused it, I would return them for a refund or get a replacement. Just my opinion, given the information here cho4002. If you are at fault, keep working on it.... take a break and try a different approach to fixing it. Good luck! and :xoutpost:

Have you tried to see what the beam of light looks like? Is it shooting out in the proper direction and at the proper height? If it is, then perhaps you should stick with them..If not, I doubt the ebay seller will refund you, those guys usually do not do refunds, but its worth a try..

Don't put it in the oven..That method is for OEM headlights only. and I think they only work from 00 to a certain manufactured date in 02 on the OEM ones..It has something to do with the glue or sealant that the factory used..Thats why it is only applicable for 00 to 02 headlights I believe.

if you did your best and would not go in, then its a defective headlight. And no, you dont have to bake them. You can be creative though, to save the trouble of returning should you wish.
