 was meant to be a friendly statement and the fact that it made you feel otherwise tells me you have a chip on your shoulder. I believe that everyone on here has the right to do what they want to with their car. I already made the statement that I liked your X5. I along with others on here have made similar comments that we did not like the chrome...it is an opinion board and everyone has a different one. Opinions on here are not meant to offend. They are meant to be opinions and take it for that. Most people on here talk about bling on their cars. It may be wheels or something else we have added. My car for one has a lot of blingage on it with all the mods I have made. Then on top of that...what the hell does George Bush have to do with any of this? If I offended you, I apologize. If you are uncomfortable with who you are then I can see how you might be offended. I have had people make suggestions about my car on here and I do not take offense to it. I take it in stride and do to my car as I wish.

Ghetto is a slang term that is derogatory up here anyway, and can be interpreted as an insult. I don't have a chip just found it somewhat offensive and insensitive. I am sure most people who actually live in the ghetto would rather not be there and love to be suburbanites but since may not have the means or might still be working towards that goal that is where they find themselves.
Now why some people put more into their cars than their houses?....that is a whole other conversation. Bygones be bygones.... Don't think I did not catch the whole "comfortable with who you are part"...just letting that go cuz I love the site and do think we all add to the texture of the group and do not feel like going back and forth

Roc3b....Just keep up the good questions and the good comments on this board. Your taste in cars is obviously good and I respect your contributions to this board. Again...I apologize if my statements were insensative as they were not intended to be.
