personally I'd remove it, but I'm not sure how you go about that. the front end has a nice clean look without it...IMO...

I think it looks pretty good but not great. I would probably leave it because it looks like there might be holes in the bumper where the ends of the "decorative grille guard" mounts. It's probably easier to live with it than to try to remove it.

Here's some fuel for your fire: Get an exhaust! The painted bumpers looks great but the rear is begging for a new exhaust/exhaust tips. Do it! All the cool kids are doing it.

I know...I know....REMUS is the winner.

It is on my list....the next thing is the angel eyes....expensive mod tho....

I guess I would have to buy a new front difuser to lose the bar huh?

I would go with the Remus before the angel eyes. You'll get more visual impact with the exhaust, not to mention a sweeter sound. I love the look of the Remus tips. I can't imagine my X without the Remus.

I think a good body shop can probably patch up the holes but you'll need to repaint the bumper cover. That's just added expense that will take away from your mod fund. I guess it comes down to whether or not you can live with the grille guard.

I would get rid of the chrome outline around the rear lights as my first mod - no offense of course.

Chrome trim, No bull...

No offence taken, I was waiting for the trim comment. I have had the truck three weeks. I have had at least 20 compliments on the chrome trim.

More than likely it is because of the Hartage 20's...if they were not on the SAV the trim would look out of place. So until the chrome comes off it stays. I am going to buy a staggard set of chrome 20's prob after the exhaust and running boards.

I have a funny feeling though that if that trim is not true chrome the first taste of salt up here is going to eat them alive and it will be a moot point.

Personally, I would keep the front bar, but maybe that's because I'm a farmer.
It is neat looking and well integrated IMHO

I'm a sucker for chrome and have been thinking about adding this one, and possibly, these steps.

what do you think?

I know they look a bit "aftermarket" but the chrome bar will help in city parking situations...(Had one on my ML and never regretted it!)
