Question about wire near the driver side visor?

Does anyone know what that wire is? When you open the visor it's right on top of it. We asked the guy but he didn't know. I think it was flat looking. Thanks for your help.

No pics yet, but I did see it's actualyy a telephone wire above the visor. Anyone know why that would be there. Thanks.

It's probably the power cable (hardwired) for a V1 (radar detector). That's where I ran mine.

I totally agree...V1 is the only one that I can think of that uses RJ telephone wire. Follow the wire and see if a T tap is wired to a "red" color wire, which would be your "hot" wire. And picture would be great for us to help you out.
