Getting Frozen door latch fixed...

Alright guys and girls....I finally broke down and made an appt at the dealer this wednesday to get my drivers door latch replaced...Damn freezing weather and constant precipitation around here has made me reach my boiling point. I've read the DIY on here but it seems quite vague and I dont want to screw anything up especially the airbag and the error code I will get.

The dealer said, it would cost $429 including parts and labor...It is a new insulated part supposedly that won't freeze like the original part. Nothing more embarrassing then having to crawl in the drivers seat from the passenger side when you're trying to go somewhere in your BMW. Enough is enough!
