And also, I'm curious if the locking mechanism resumes proper function again if the you decide to re-install the stock auto shifter knob at a later date... (?) |

The shifter does come off as easy as that. I pulled mine off (sounds a bit perverted, doesn't it?) just to try it and when I put it back on, it worked same as ever...

Just tried to remove the shifter knob, and I could not get the damn thing off
For those that have successfully removed them, do you have an '05? (I doubt it matters, but who knows... ) Is there any trick to getting it off? |
