Jumbo,
I have seen these type of boards in person, and i was disappointed. The fact that it that the aluminum covers the entire side of the X, is just doesn't look right. I have seen wuzin's OEM in person couple of times, and yes, it sticks out a bit more than reps, but they look good and better, not to mention the durability compared to reps. But if that's your taste, we respect it and its your X, so its your call. |

MDX5 actually raised an interesting question.
Has any E53 owner actually installed nerf bars? I'm talking about these which come in Black Powder or in Stainless Steel finish. Just wondered what they looked like on an X5...

Great feedback folks! Thanks!
Anyone have actual pictures of some of the tubular step bars installed on an X? For example, the Volvo XC90 has, for a lack of a better description, more sophisticated "nerf bars" as OEM...just wondering if something like that exists for the X5. Thanks again, Mark Last edited by MDX5; 03-10-2008 at 11:15 PM. |
