thanks. my gf saw this thread and she wants me to help her doing 1 on her X5. someone actually did the whole thing on an E39




is it possible to install deck and buttons on the side too?

all those buttons ...there is only one will need ( power) if you have the paddles shifter like mine.
and dont like to move the shifter to the left all you need is press the power button and shift it from the padlles
otherwise no need to install any buttons at all.

yup

it looks like mission impossible but someone actually went all the way and have it done. i donno how he did it. do u have the wiring pattern when u connect the wires for the lights?
