I could be wrong but Ive heard it runs nearly $200 for parts and labor, not to mention scheduling for an appointment a week or two in advance, and doing the early morning drop off... the joys of dealer work

An oil and filter change is about $90-$100 at a dealer. An Oil Service (BMW code word phrase for checking a list of items on top of the oil and filter change) can be up to $200. Many dealers don't promote doing just an oil and filter change, as their shops are already full.
