Your both in Chicago but you had them shipped? Anyways, I feel your pain on this deal; hope everything works out for you.

Update: I just got this email below:

"Dear truman_greg,

y would you make a claim wih paypal. the wheels are authenrtic. just drive to a bmw dealer and they will confirm iot, what is your problem bro.i sent exactly what was stated in the auction. the bmw symbol is on all the wheels, y don't you turn them around and look at the back.

- pdiddy618"

He emails me this after reading my claim:

"I received the wheels today. They are not authentic wheels made by BMW as the auction states, but fake ones, that actually say replica on the inside."

Once again, have you contacted the seller and if so, has he provided any explanation??

my reply:

"Look at the attached picture, and tell me if the wheel is a BMW or a fake. I can assure you it is a fake."

(I attached a picture of the wheel that says "ricambio")

I offered to pick up the wheels since we were both in Chicago. The seller said that he "works 12 hour days, and can't possibly meet you." He also mentioned that he works the overnight shift at UPS, and that it is easier to just ship them.

I'm actually glad he did ship them as I have proof of delivery, and it will speed things up.

He didn't want to meet up with me obviously now, because I would notice the fake wheels...

His reply:

"i took pictures of the back of the wheels on the auction, and the wheels will have that same bmw logo on all of them. you need to go to the nearest bmw service department and they will confirm it. this claim was unneccesary, you could of called me personally and i would have showed you how to confirm that they are real bmw wheels."

Now sure why he is saying this after I emailed him the pic of the "non originale" wheel...maybe he thinks that because it has the BMW center cap that it is original?

My reply:

"I sent you a picture of the fake wheel. "NON ORIGINALE" and "RICAMBIO" means NON ORIGINAL in english."

His reply (and its kinda scary):

"y want you just drive to a bmw dealer and they will confirm it. putting pictures on a BMW community will not confirm if they are real or not. y don't you let a bmw dealer that sells the wheels confirm to you that they are real. you are making a big problem for no reason. th wheels are real and you know it. what is your problem? i think you are really trying to get out of paying for the wheels. i guess we are going to have to let paypal decide this since you don't want to take a simple ride to the dealer so they can let you know that you are mistaken."

And another reply from him:

"and after a bmw parts guy confirms to you that the wheels are authentic, an apology would really be in order. if you look at my feedback, it is 100% i have never sent fake items to buyers. this is the second set of BMW wheels that i have sold on ebay and the first were athentic as these are. you need to first research the wheels if you were not sure before you make a claim, this makes no sense, i would not send out fake wheels claiming that they are authentic."

My reply:

"I'm glad you have 100% feedback. This is why I trusted you in the first place. I'm sorry that you sent me a fake wheel. Original BMW wheels do not say "Made in Italy" or "RECAMBIO" or NON ORIGINALE". Just because it has the BMW center cap does not mean that the wheel is an OEM. Let's save some time here: why don't you call any one of the 1000 BMW dealers and ask them if any BMW wheels will say "RECAMBIO" or "NON ORIGINALE" stamped inside. Just give me my money back, and I'll WASTE $270 of my own money to send the wheels back to you."

his reply:

"what do you mean fake wheel, i sent you four tires and wheels, so y would you say that u sent a picture of a fake wheel. you just claimed that the wheels were replicas, now you are saying that one wheel is fake, could you make up your mind bro. i honestly think you don't have an idea of what you are talking about, u need to take all 4 of the tires and wheels to the nearest bmw dealer."

my reply:

"I opened up the first wheel of the 4 that were sent. Once I saw that it was a fake, I immediately called Paypal to inform them. They told me not to open the other wheels, as this one is clearly a replica. Just refund my money, please."
