$200 Oil Change

Ok, I must be getting old and my perspectives are skewed. I need an oil change on the ole X5. I contacted my indy mechanic and he told me it would be $130. Thinking that was a bit high I contacted the BMW dealer here and was told an oil change is $212!! And yes that is the price for just the oil change without the cabin filter!!!

Let's see..

Oil should be 8.5 quarts at $6.50 a quart = $55 (Rounded)
BMW Oil Filter = $20 ? (Anyone know the actual price??)

So $75 in parts and $137 in labor???

Looks like I am doing my own oil change!!!!
