$200 Oil Change

My last oil change was $1400 (aka the straw that broke the camels back), and that was with an extended warranty. They fixed half of the problems under warranty, but the "collapsed hoses" were $1400 to fix. I never seemed to have just an oil change, the inspections always found something that needed fixing. That was on 02 with less than 60,000 miles. So as the wife's CPO expired on her 325, we leased a 08 328i, back under full maintenance, and I gave up my 02 X5 for an 08 GMC Acadia, price of oil change is $39, and that is with a tire rotation. Yes I could do it my self, and before kids I did, but now I have more important things to do. I am glad to be rid of my X5 also, $80 a tank every week was getting old, now I am down to $30 a week, uses less gas, and does not require premium. Plus I have lots of cool toys to play with, and a lot more room, things that matter more.
