I never took it in. Did they replace the steering sensor? If so how much?

Get your ABS modules rebuilt.

It's cold now, so I'm not concerned with the problem and will send it out to get it rebuilt for $300 in the spring. It's been working fine, and running like a champ for a little while with the fall and winter temperatures. It ended up not being a problem with the A/C at all, just with the warmer/hot temperatures. It seems that anything above 70 degrees, after some driving, the light will come on. With the cooler temperatures, the electronics aren't as finicky and function fine.

I have had my X for a year. I ALWAYS get these lights on first start when it is cold out.

Took it to the dealer last week. He reports that the battery has a dead cell (as I suspected). It has been replaced (gratis!) and I am told there are no more lights. I will pick it up Saturday.

I just had mine sorted. These 3 lights came on only when I drove at speed on the motorways.

It was the steering angle sensor. Got a BM specailist to plug his computer to it and reset the configuration and it has solved the issue.

Check the cruise control. I had same problem with cruise control mal-functioning. It turned out that left rear speedo wasn't working properly. Good luck!

this time, there is a chance the dealer was right regarding the Transfer Case fluid... how did i know? i sent a pm to Weasel ( ) and confirmed it could be a possibility that i just need to replace the Transfer Case fluid (not covered by WD, but its ok)...

im expecting to get my X5 back today...

Brake,ABS,DSC and the whole f..ing code system

It started with two hang-ups on the parking sensors, next the brake, ABS,DSC warnings. Then silence for a couple of weeks. Then back to brake, ABS,DSC warnings + transmission failsafe. Then in addition the engine temp, odometer and vaacummeter is cutting out half the time, the engine fan is running like hell and the climate system refuses to start. I have warnings about the fuel system failing, - and now I have given up and booked at the stealers garage next week.
As far as I have been able to control all is functioning except for the car data system.
I'll report later.
