Ok, well I got them at Discount Tire in Phoenix...$1,247 out the door fully insured and with taxes. Not bad I think compared to the dealer and I checked the ones at the dealer and the same "star" was on these tires and same rating so I think they are the same tires.
So FYI. ~Ryan |

I was told... There was a new 'generation' of the tire released last year and that both the old and the new could be purchased for some time.
The prices were about the same for both generations, but the tires supposedly had different model numbers. |

I'm replacing front tires on my 4.8is, and found that local Michellin dealer is now selling only 275/45ZR20 106Y instead of factory suplyed 275/45ZR 102W...
Michellin webpage says that in fact, 106Y is better in load range (besides been factory equipment for Cayenne and Tuareg) se link bellow: http://www.michelinman.com/michelinm...-size/compare/ Roads are extremelly bad here... so there goes 700 bucks again.
