new steering wheel
I'm looking for a new steering wheel with paddle shift. I don't necessarily have to have the ///M one, so I looked at a few others. I saw these 2, does anyone know if my round airbag off sports steering wheel will fit on the z4 one, I know it will fit on the sports one - anyone see any compatibility issues with these doing the same thing as the ///M wheel - hooking up to steptronic etc??
Here are choices (#3 would be wait for ///M wheel, I'm looking for a good deal to come up on ebay or on e46 site). #2 doesn't have wheel controls - that's the bummer.. Choice #1 Choice #2 |

I have a sports steering wheel from my 02 330Ci like your first pic but, without the paddle shifters if you want. Are you going to be at the Crab Shell meet on the 31 May? If your interested, I can bring it with me. You can have it for $50 and 2 shots of Patron for Michelle...The steering wheel is just sitting in my other room collecting dust.

And, just to clarify, the steering wheel is "sitting in the other room collecting dust," not me!

I really like the Z4 wheel too mrbmwx5, only thing is no steering wheel control. Even though the only thing I use wheel control for is skip track.. so depending on cost of airbag.. and if seller responds to me. Of course you'd say get the ///M wheel, M.

There WILL be a few hours in between each of those three shots! ![]() LOL I don't even have it. Like I told you the other day, I like how the trim piece on my sport wheel matches the rest of the interior trim too much to change.

Hey Rasta,
If you were to install it, are the paddle shifters purely cosmetic, or would they actually link into the steptronic to change gears? That would be very cool! |
