Gear Selector not locking

2nd problem on my almost troublefree 2003 X. The only issue I ever had was a funky trunk latch issue.

The detent-stop seems to be broken. When in drive, I can literally puch the stick up all the way to park.....It's the weirdest thing. Anyhow, I've got a appt scheduled 2 weeks out.

Anyone else see this issue ?

Cool

I've had the same issue with my 2005 4.4i Sport. I posted this issue here, but no one posted that they were having the same problem. I can move the selector all the way to Park even when I'm moving. Good thing the software overrides this so no damage occurs to the drive train.

I would appreciate a follow up post with the dealer fix.

Good Luck
