Head Rest (newbie)

Hi everyone,
new to this place and just got my new 2005 x5 3.0i about 4 days ago. I have a question, I notice on my driver seat head rest is a bit looser then the passenger side head rest. What i mean by loose is, when you shake the head rest back and forth motion, the head rest seems to rattle and move while the passenger head rest stays the solid. Has anyone experience this before and can this be easily fixed?

I had the same problem - switching the headrests cured it for me - maybe worth a try...

Try "switching" as suggested or, hit the Stlr: warranty item And considered a safety item as the headrest is part of the "restraint system". The HR should be firm and not wiggle or slide up & down. GL,md
