Arrow am radio reception

Can anyone help with a 'fix' for my apalling am radio reception?
Any device, fix, or adjustment, would be helpful.

I had a similar problem when I got my X and the dlr replaced (or said they replaced) the AM aerial amp in the boot lid. Whatever they did it fixed my problem, the AM reception is now fine.
