Now THAT is funny. Only 36 posts so you probably don't know Blue/modcat's background. His X is bone stock and he has debated the necessity of each and every mod all of us have done.

Just curious.

I'm on my third X5 ('01 4.4i, '05 4.4i, '08 4.8i). I've had problems but all of them were minor annoyances, not big issues.
I bought another one cause I was thought that maybe the first was a lemon. I bought the second one used, I was the second owner and the car was local. I didnt think my luck could be that bad to have 2 of them that stayed broke all the time. I really like the x5s, just dont want my wife in something that I cant depend on. Im glad most of you have had good luck, I did not. In december 07 my wife and kids went to the biltmore house and the window fell down and they had to ride 3hrs home with the window down freezing. Just a poor decision i guess.

Nah, that would have been a poor window regulator....

I would take that shelby any day of the week! That is a badass ride. What color combo do you have? I was going to buy a shelby or a saleen but it would have to be my daily as well. I was going to have to get rid of my truck to buy one. I need my truck too bad, maybe one day when the kids are gone.

Black and silver........wanted black/red but that is a barrett jackson special edition and I couldn't find one nearly affordable. I bought mine new, but it had been on the lot for a year with no one even considering a purchase on it. I made them an offer, 1.5 months later they called me wanting to know if I wanted it still......rest was history. I have been into the stangs for years, awesome cars for little to no money when compared to others in the same power/speed arena. I like the saleen cars and even the roush cars, but you can get the shelby for a ton cheaper. I also got rid of my 04 cobra, which I miss real bad........biggest mistake of my life and I will probably wind up finding another one in the future,

Those terminators are sweet. Those cars will be worth a pretty penny one day. The only reason I am holding on to my 93 is cause they are so hard to find in stock form and in good shape. Whenever I get out of drag racing I plan to sell my coupe, cobra and the trailers and I guess the truck too and buy me something fun like a shelby or a saleen to beat on everyday. That color combo you have is prob. my favorite. I almost pulled the trigger on a 07 saleen but just couldnt do it, kind of wish that I had now though. It was new and they were selling it cheap, I just passed on it for some reason. You like driving the shelby as a daily?

If you are refering to me, that is not me. I will say what I have to say under this screen name. Why would I do that, you dont know me and I dont know you, why would I need to make up another screen name? Maybe you werent refering to me but I assure that is not me.

I wish it rode a tad bit better, but I knew that going into it. Its loud inside with the charger crying, but thats one noise I love, so its not exactly a complaint until you are on the phone and can't hear....LOL!!!! Other than that, I can't complain. "terminators"........now I know you are a stang guy.
