Goodyear Fortera Tripletreds...
Tirerack has them rated the best in the category (255/55-18). I was curious if anyone has them on their X5 or any other performance vehicle. I need to replace my MVX4's this week as we are moving to San Antonio and I can't drive my X5 down on its old tires. I guess I won't be too concerned about snow any more, but still need a good tire that will handle the heat and wet pavement (when it rains). Any other recommendations (from experience) for south Texas driving? Thanks in advance |

For what it's worth. I have stuck with the MXV4s on both my X5's (and the Jetta I just sold). Tires are such a big expense, it's nice to have a known quantity and quality. Come to think of it, I have Michelins on the Kawasaki too.
