Looking for Anthracite Maple trim

I've got dark poplar trim in my X and i've had no luck finding anthracite maple. A friend of mine had the wood trim in his E36 professionally painted gloss black (like the piano black trim available on some other BMW's)

Before I go through with it though, would anyone want to trade for the dark poplar (or if someone wants it painted another color, like silver)?

Trying to resist going for carbon fiber... !

Anthracite maple, instead of carbon fiber? That may make for a classier touch.......I think I am liking this idea.......

Kind of what i'm going for since this is the most 'lux' car i've ever had... carbon fiber is more on the sporty side and i've got my M3 to fill that void. I really like the anthracite maple in my dad's MB and as crazy as this sounds, i'd like to reserve carbon fiber for the day I can afford a Porsche.

While we're at it, everybody feel free to post pics of anthracite maple!

I was also looking into this trim, I like the wood but I don't like how much it stands out(I have the light poplar). PersonaNonGrata posted a couple pics of his Anthracite trim in this thread http://www.xoutpost.com/accessories-f...wood-trim.html

Thanks for posting that Z! Never saw it before.. but it got me thinking - gray poplar isn't the same as anthracite maple?? I don't like it in those pics, it's too similar to what i've got.

EDIT: I thought this is what anthracite maple looks like?

Yeah I know what you mean. I've seen the anthracite maple on an e39 and it looked completely grey, but the trim set for e53 looks more maple for some reason. I really like the wood trim but I want something more neutral in grey or black. There are also a couple pics on the homepage which look even more like the standard dark poplar.

I've gone so far as to consider sanding off the clearcoat and restaining the wood myself..
