Good point, I guess the easiest way to verify is to try burning 50 songs onto a single CD and see if it works!!!

Never thought of that. I'll burn a disc before I leave work today using Nero and another program I have here.

Are you trying on the 6-disc changer? I tried on my 2005 6-disc and it did not recognize the disc.

That's the plan. I have some other stereo work to do tonight as well, so we'll see how everything goes....

I just picked up my 2005 X5 yesterday and it does play MP3's

No, Playing through the in dash single CD

I have an in dash casette player (whatever one of those looks like!).. Looks like the new head units have mp3 support now
