4.6 vs. 4.8 bumper - Different

Would anyone know definitively if the 4.6 bumper is the SAME bumper as the 4.8 ?

I noticed on the 4.8 that there is a additional rubber trim in the opening of the exhaust vs. the 4.6 which does not have this trim.

On my 4.4, I do have the 4.6 tips, and am thinking about ordering that trim to close out the opening a lil bit more. I remember there was blurbs about the 4.8 tips being smaller but no one really confirmed on that. Hmmm....could it be that the tips are ever so slightly smaller and that trim can fit due to more clearance.

Hell, I'm going to order it anyway and see if it fits !

I believe that the front bumpers are different on the 4.6 and 4.8. But the rear are the same. Someone else correct me if I am wrong.

I think he means the rear bumper. The part #s on 4.6is and 4.8is rear bumpers seem to be same. I believe the tips are also same size.

Yes, I am referring to the rear bumper.
Nevetheless, it's been ordered...I'll post some before and after pics if the trim fits.

With the 4.8 rear bumper, you will need to order the flares too.
