I've been looking for use for those wheel ramps besides making oil changes/coolant flushes easier :-)

Man you know your shit lol. I should just fly you out here to help fix my bimmer haha.

But if you simply jack it up untill that side just comes off of the stand under the lifting pad... then go back down about 1-2 inches, that would be close enough.

That's about 150mi due North West. I may or may not still be be here since I am moving to SF and I may or may not still have the X lol. If I do then I am keeping at least until I get to SF and I will probably use it to tow my Z and whatever belongings I can pack in the two cars.

I need to get a hitch put on though, and the truck needs to be dependable enough to make the 760mi voyage

760 miles, hell... my shop foreman does that in a week on his 4.4i X5. I don't see how he can drive just over 100 miles a day for work... must be hell on gas!

I don't even know what a full tank costs here... most of the pumps here stop at $75 for some reason, and I don't have the patience to swipe the card again. But at least the gas prices took an unexpected dip, its less than $4 for premium 93 right now. Much better than $3.99 for regular a couple months ago.

Yeah that's true but even if prices stay down i think people will have a bad taste hangover about gas prices and its going to be tough to sell SUV's. Sucks we get this 91 schwag out here on the west coast too.

even though you don't have upper control arms in the front...? HAHA! Got ya on that! But thats a decent labor charge, its what I would end up charging a random customer... about normal on the techs end. Just make sure they know to line up the arrow on the bushing with the dot on the arm.
